About Terry

Terry O’Donnell, elected to the Oklahoma House of Representatives in 2012, is a proven leader and dedicated servant to his constituents and state. A Baylor University and University of Tulsa Law School honors graduate, AV rated attorney, and dedicated husband and father, Terry’s strong principles, ethics and moral compass guide his decision-making and actions in everything he does.

1963-1989

Early Life

Growing up in Tulsa, Terry joined the Boy Scouts of America at a young age, earning his Eagle award at just 15 years of age.

Serving

After beginning his practice of law, Terry served the City of Catoosa on its Planning Commission and Zoning Board prior to being elected to the State House of Representatives. In addition, Terry received Martindale Hubble’s highest rating of “AV” after only seven years of practice, recognizing both his professional skills and dedication to strict ethical standards.

2012-2024

Government

In 2012, Terry became Catoosa’s first-ever elected legislator. After his first four years, Terry was selected for senior leadership, serving as chair of the Energy and Environment Committee, House Majority Whip and was then elected as SpeakerPro Tempore by his colleagues in 2020.
